WHy Weddings?

Hey, I am Dani

I bought my first camera in seventh grade, a video camera. I saved up Christmas and birthday money and I went to Best Buy and picked out a video camera. At the time my life plan was to make movies. I spent hours and days directing my siblings and cousins around, giving them scripts and telling them where to stand. I wanted to tell stories.

Through high school I moved to a digital camera and a film camera and I found a passion for photography. I studied photography and painting in college and fell in love with how you can tell a lot of a story within a single photograph. Composition and attention to detail are two of my strengths and I can't get enough of telling stories through my art work.

While I interned at Walt Disney World, I was introduced to wedding photography through a work associate and after shadowing a few weddings I was hooked. The energy of the day is inspiring and the challenge of telling love stories through my photographs is exciting.

I have my degree from Georgia College in Studio Art with concentrations in Photography and Painting.

I spent a year interning at Walt Disney World as a Photographer!

Travel is one of my greatest passions!

I have had the opportunity to spend time in, Argentina, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and many beautiful places across our country as well!

Family

I am married to my best friend, Ben! We met in Texas when we were 13. I have two wild and adorable toddlers!

Roots

I grew up moving about every two years! I have lived in 7 different states! I was born in Cincinnati but like to think the South adopted me and we call Georgia home!

Ben is my husband and a supremely logical and methodical partner. He is a problem solving wizard and we have a love story worth a listen! I love having Ben on shoots because he is great with the guys getting ready and he is always willing to help out wherever he is needed!

Kellsey is an amazing addition to our team. Kellsey is this incredibly calming source, she is great at reading a situation and jumping in to help make adjustments. Kellsey is full of great ideas and can take my wild artist ideas and translate them into reality! I love having Kellsey on a shoot because she is so good with people and just makes the environment relaxed and fun!
